Drone Usage Policy at Mt. Baldy Resort
Can I fly a drone at the resort?
No, out of concern for the safety of our guests, employees, and resort property, as well as concerns for individual privacy, Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts Inc. prohibits the operation or use of UAS (unmanned aerial systems commonly referred to as drones) by the general public – including recreational users, hobbyists, or for any commercial use.
Authorized Drone Use:
Drone use is permitted only upon obtaining written authorization from Management.
Strict Prohibition:
This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping, as well as any drone used by media or journalists operating above or within the Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts Inc. boundary.
Consequences of Violation:
Violation of this policy may result in the loss of lift privileges and/or prosecution under applicable law.
