At Mt Baldy, we understand that pets are a part of the family and should be able to enjoy the mountain experience. To ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone, please adhere to the following pet policy:

Are Dogs Allowed? Dogs are welcome at Mt Baldy, and we encourage you to bring your furry friends to enjoy the beauty of the mountain.

Lift Restrictions: Please note that dogs are not allowed on the chair lift. If you plan to explore the top of the mountain with your dog, you'll need to take a scenic walk up our 4-mile trail to the Top of the Notch. Dogs must be on a leash at all times during this trek.

Dog-Friendly Areas:

1. 4-Mile Trail: This scenic hiking trail is the perfect way to experience the mountain with your dog. Enjoy breathtaking views and a peaceful walk to the Top of the Notch.
2. Top of the Notch: Once you reach the Top of the Notch, you and your dog can take in the stunning surroundings and relax in the designated pet-friendly areas.
3. Outdoor Dining: While dining at the Top of the Notch restaurant, you'll find outdoor seating areas where your dog can join you. Please ensure your dog is well-behaved and on a leash.

Guidelines for Bringing Dogs:

• Dogs should be well-behaved and not pose a threat to our personnel or other guests.
• Keep your dog on a leash at all times.
• Be responsible for cleaning up after your dog. 
• For the safety and enjoyment of all, please maintain control of your dog's behavior.
